A Closely Guarded Secret When Entering the Marketing Awards 2010
That
Will Give You
a Better Chance of Winning

(Judges are Going to be Very Annoyed At Me for Revealing This to You)

Don’t just tell the judges what you have achieved in these Marketing Awards 2010 – prove it!

Demonstrate your achievements with such things as:-

  • Testimonials (include photo and business name)
  • Graphs / charts (to show a numerical growth e.g. %)
  • Media releases / clippings

Answer the 5 simple Questions below in the Marketing Awards 2010 and remember they should be answered as they relate to marketing strategies, not to the entire development of the business. However, if the marketing strategy has positively affected the entire business, then by all means discuss how that has occurred.

QUESTIONS

1. Target - Who was your target market for the marketing strategy (strategies) you are discussing in your submission?

2. Strategy - What was the plan and line of attack for the marketing strategy? Describe from inception to completion.

3. Execution - How did you go about putting this marketing plan into action? Explain who was involved, where and how the plan was executed and how well it was responded to (should include discussion on budget, schedule and costs). What problems were experienced and how were they overcome.

4. Creativity - How unique and innovative was your marketing plan? Explain what special features you used to make your marketing strategy ‘stand out’. This could include discussions on media and what messages you were trying to get across.

5. Results - How did you measure the results of your marketing strategy? Describe what the results were and whether you reached the target you had set yourself
