Section 1: FORMS
- Fill in the Entry Form (which
also acts as a checklist) and send together with your your completed entry.
- You must be a member of MCEI to enter these Awards (this rule is set by head office in Geneva).If
you are not already a Member of MCEI, you must complete a Membership Form and Profile Form to receive a complimentary Gold Membership to
MCEI
(this must be received with your entry. Entries will not be eligible for judging
without the completed Membership and Profile form).

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
* There is an Administrative fee of $150 for each individual entry.
* Each entry must provide a written testimonial from another business, business coach, mentor,
business association e.g. Chamber of Commerce, or Government department. Entrants can be nominated
by this professional or can self nominate.
* Each entry must give three contacts of clients or customers that can be phoned and are
prepared to answer questions about the customer service of the entrant.
* Winners will be expected to support MCEI by taking a role in one or more of the
following:-
1. be a speaker or presenter at one of MCEI's many events;
2. be a Guest Expert in the Forum for one week;
3. and/or support other ventures that MCEI may run from time to time e.g. Australia Day
Treasure Hunt.
* The Australian Marketer of the Year will be presented along
with the winners from Asian Chapters at the Australian Gala Awards Presentation on 26th
October 2010.
* The Australian Marketer of the Year will also be judged by an international jury for the MCEI
International Marketing Excellence Award, which will be announced by MCEI Geneva.

Section 2: ENTRY
Submit a written document after choosing the category you wish to enter. There is no ‘hard and fast’ rule re
maximum number of words, but it would be anticipated that each of the questions would not usually exceed 1,000
words, and can be considerably less. Quality rather than quantity is being looked for by the judges.

Note:
* First appearances of your entry are important.
* Please check that each page of your entry is clearly identified with the category entered and
your business name and numbered consecutively.
* Ensure that the information is clear and legible.
* Remember, these awards are for Marketing and Communications so it is expected that your entry
will clearly show how well you can communicate your message.
* You may wish to use a wordsmith to assist you with your entry....MCEI can provide a list of
members who can support you in this area.
* The overall winner will be requested to provide five copies of their winning entry to be
further judged in the MCEI International Marketing Excellence Award (each City Chapter can submit
one award entrant to represent their Chapter)

- Closing Date for Receipt of Entries is
5pm 1st October 2010.
- Presentation to winners will take place in Melbourne 26th October 2010

* All entrants are expected to attend the Presentation.
* Encourage your Nominator to attend with you, as nominators can also be rewarded.
* Finalists and Winners will not be notified in advance – all will learn of their achievements
at the Presentation.
* Under no circumstances will entries be returned to the entrant.
